Before proceeding with the installation, please note the operating system requirements and restriction.
If your browser is not permitted to download applications, you may have to locate LagunaInstall.exe on the CDROM or DVD drive and run LagunaInstall.exe manually.
The following operating systems are supported:
Installation will require Administrator password. When Laguna is first executed, users will be required to enter an Administrator password to enable firewall permissions to access the associated scheduled events scheduler. The port is used to communicate with the scheduler.
If you do not have a CD, an internet connection will be required.
Click this link to locate and download the Laguna installer for the Rain Master™ Laguna Central software. Run LagunaInstall.exe program that is downloaded.
A fresh install - where Laguna has never been installed on a PC - a two step installation is required. Some prerequisite software componenets are downloaded and installed before the main Laguna software is installed. On subsequent upgrades, the prerequisites are not re-installed.
The Laguna program installs by default to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rain Master Control Systems\Laguna, but all log and data files remain in their original location (C:\RMIS1\Data).
After you install a new release of Laguna or upgrade an existing Laguna installation and you start Laguna for the first time, you will be prompted to enter an activation code. Record the Hardware ID and contact Rain Master at the phone number shown or E-mail the code to Tech Support.
You will receive an activation code which you can enter in the field below the Hardware ID to activate Laguna and purchased options.
Record your activation code and keep it in a safe place.
The ability to import Oasis data to Laguna has been added. The program can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rain Master Control Systems\Laguna, the program is called OasisDatabaseMigration.exe. Locate the program and locate and open an Oasis database that was backed-up using Oasis.
